The Rideau King, a fifty foot steel tour boat sails Monday through Thursday every week from it's home port of Merrickville, Ontario on the historical Rideau Canal. Constructed in the early 1800's the Rideau Canal has served Canadians as a military, commercial and vacation thoroughfare for almost 200 years. Recently designated a World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal has become a favorite tourist attraction in the Ottawa Valley. It stretches from Kingston to Ottawa and has 45 locks all in picturesque rural and urban settings. Take one of our daily tours and discover one of the most scenic waterways in North America.
